LOUISE BOURGEOIS, A WOMAN WITHOUT SECRETS AT THE SCOTTISH NATIONAL GALLERY OF MODERN ART

On a rainy day in Edinburgh earlier this year (2014), I visited the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art to see Louise Bourgeois' 'A Woman Without Secrets' exhibition. Having studied her work during my A-Level Art it was great to see some of her work in person, particularly her Cell (Eyes and Mirrors). I managed to sneakily take a few pictures.

SENSING SPACES AT THE ROYAL ACADEMY OF ARTS

Whilst living in London on my placement year I was able to visit the Royal Academy of Arts' 'Sensing Spaces' exhibition in March 2014. It was a great experience, with a range of installations triggering different senses, especially the sense of intrigue. Some of the exhibits were interactive, engaging and exciting visitors. Here are a few pictures from my visit.

HELLO, MY NAME IS PAUL SMITH AT THE DESIGN MUSEUM

Another exhibition I visited whilst in London was the 'Hello, my name is Paul Smith' exhibition at the Design Museum. It was a very personal exhibition put together by Paul Smith himself, allowing visitors to have a real insight into his life and world. He had recreated his chaotic office space, which showed the creative environment he worked in. Other rooms included short films, Paul Smith memorabilia and clothing from past collections.

MARTIN CREED, WHAT'S THE POINT OF IT? AT THE HAYWARD GALLERY

I visited Martin Creed's 'What's the point of it?' exhibition at the Hayward Gallery, London in March 2014. Being a Fine Art exhibition it was quite controversial with lots of nudity and indecency, but all the same was an enjoyable exhibition. The balloon room was a fun interactive experience (although I lost my scarf due to the static!), I have attached a video from the balloon room.
